Satisfactory victory 'Red Devils'

Manchester - Manchester United three points gained after beating Leicester City 3-1. Despite failing to create a clean sheet, the victory was already quite satisfactory 'Red Devils'.

In the match at Old Trafford on Saturday (31/01/2015), MU more dominant along 2x45 minutes. With 71 percent ball possession, Manchester United scored 12 experiments with five attempts that led to the goal. Leicester only able to create four experiments make goals with one on target.

Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao each contributed a goal and an own goal by Leicester defender Wes Morgan makes Manchester United leading 3-0 in the first half. In the second half, a goal back Leicester finally born through Marcin Wasilewski.

"We are pleased with this result. We try to keep control of the ball and created a lot of it. We are also a better team," said the Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind, as reported by BBC Sport.

"We played a good game with high patience and control of the ball. The first half was very good, in the second half we might be too impatient. But we try to kill the game with possession and created more chances than that."

"We are getting closer to the play style of Louis van Gaal. We are on track and AKMI happy. Of course you do want to get a clean sheet, but won 3-1 at home, we've played a good game and it was a good result," Dutchman's straightforward.

Thanks to this victory, Manchester United today climbed to third in the standings  with 42 points results of 23 games, leapfrog Southampton which has one fewer points.
