Liverpool - Wimbledon FC, one word comes to mind when hearing the name is: The Crazy Gang. Yes, a group of players who never make a broken heart of Liverpool, a quarter century ago.


Back in May 1988, when it was Liverpool who were mastering the UK and Europe to play in the FA Cup final. People are certainly going to easily designate the Reds as a candidate champion as opposed to just a Wimbledon, who was then just play in the Football League Second Division - one level below the First Division, which is the highest caste of English football.
