Reus New Contract Signed with Dortmund

Dortmund - All the rumors related to the future of Marco Reus is now broken. German international attacking midfielder was certainly not going to leave Borussia Dortmund in the near future after he signed a new contract.

The new agreement with Reus confirmed directly Dortmund through general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke. The new agreement will make Reus survive in the Signal Iduna Park until 2019.

"We were never affected by all the rumors and always be sure that this extraordinary player will continue to be with us for a long time. Marco decided to survive when we were in a crisis and we are proud of it," said Hans-Joachim Watzke, as reported by Marca.

Long contract with Dortmund actual Reus will expire in 2017. But his buy-out clause which only amounted to 20 million pounds, making a lot of clubs could easily get him. Noted Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich rumored targeting 25-year-old player.

Reus has appeared in 10 league games this season with a score four goals and two assists. Throughout his career in the Bundesliga he has played 169 times and collected 70 goals.

Reus decision to sign a new contract so the good news is awaited Dortmund in the midst of hardship. Jurgen Klopp made the squad is still slumped in the top 16 of the standings with 19 points from 20 games they've accumulated five wins, four draws and 11 defeats.
