Valencia - Paco Alcacer show loyalty to Valencia. Despite Europe's top clubs reportedly wanted him, Alcacer chose to extend his contract with Los Che.
Alcacer new contract valid until June 2020.
The signing of the new contract also dampen speculation about the future of the Spanish national team striker, who had reportedly targeted by Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Alcacer was born in Valencia and the Valencia academy product. He diving debut with the first team Valencia in November 2010, but was loaned to Getafe in the 2012/2013 season.
Alcacer back strengthening Valencia last season and performed quite brilliantly with a contribution of 14 goals in 37 matches. For this season, the 21-year-old player has packed 8 goals in 22 matches.
"I am happy and proud to be continued in Valencia for five more seasons," said Alcacer as reported by the official website of Valencia.
"I want to thank the club for the confidence they have shown to me. What should I do now is pay their confidence with goals and give everything I have to help the team," he added.
"I will continue to work in order to become a better player and Valencia drove back to where they belong. The Champions League is the main target, and I personally want to play an important role for the team," said the player who has collected five caps with the Spanish national team.
Valencia is currently fourth in La Liga standings. They collected 41 points, behind Real Madrid (48 points), Barcelona (47 points), and Atletico Madrid (44 points).
