Mourinho Not Happy Gerrard Leave Premier League

Liverpool - Not only Liverpool and their fans are saddened by the departure of Steven Gerrard next season. Jose Mourinho, who is the manager of rivals 'The Red' also regretted Gerrard's decision to leave.

After spending a quarter century of his life with Liverpool and still be the only professional club Gerrard, so the 2014/2015 season was the last time a player 34 years is wearing a red uniform.

Gerrard decided to go from Liverpool once his contract runs out this summer and move to Major League Soccer (MLS) to join with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Many lamented Gerrard's decision considering he judged too quickly leave the competition as competitive as the Premier League. Although admittedly ability declines with increasing age.

One regret the departure of Gerrard is Mourinho, who incidentally was always arguing with Liverpool and ever claimed to want to bring Gerrard in 2005.

According to Mourinho, the Premier League will be different when left one of the best players like Gerrard.

"I'm not happy he left England. I really want the Premier League as much as possible to keep his best players," said Mourinho in Soccerway.

"I thought he had a better quality than the other Premier League players. Despite the fact that he is my enemy, I feel sad for his departure," he continued.

Gerrard himself will play on July together MLS and there was a pause in the winter, which is usually used for MLS players on loan in European club in order to maintain his condition.

It is said that Gerrard was already mentioned will be back later this year to the Premier League.


"Maybe we could borrow it," Mourinho joked when asked if he wanted to bring Gerrard when the MLS off.
