Interesting note ahead duel of Manchester United vs Newcastle at Old Trafford

Manchester - Public Old Trafford may not be easy to forget about the defeat of their team over Newcastle United in last season. Somehow it feels when it happens again.

Manchester United

• MU won 6 of his last 7 games in the league, while the rest is series. They only lost one of their last 12 league matches.
• Of the 20 Premier League matches played in the current MU Boxing Day, they only lost one time (W17, D2).
• Wayne Rooney took 3 more goals to become the fifth player, after Alan Shearer (173), Thierry Henry (120), Andy Cole (106), and Robbie Fowler (103), which raked in 100 Premier League goals in his home.
• Manchester United so far this season has been lowered a total of 31 players, most of the other teams. They are the closest to Hull City, who has played 27 players.

Newcastle United

• Newcastle have only won one of their last five league games (D1, L3). They even lost three times in a row in all competitions.
• Since 2014 they have swallowed 11 away defeat in the Premier League. It was the worst figure, as it is also experienced by West Brom, Aston Villa, and Hull City.
• Of their last 11 games on Boxing Day, 9 of whom acted Newcastle at home to his opponents. From there they lost 6 times and only won once.
• They are now the only Premier League team who had never scored a goal in the first 30 minutes this season.
