London - Arsenal closed in 2014 with the victory. A visit to the home to West Ham United, Arsenal secured three points after winning the game with a final score of 2-1.


In the match at Upton Park on Sunday (12/28/2014), Santi Cazorla penalty and Danny Welbeck goal closed the first half with the score 2-0 to Arsenal excellence. After the break, West Ham create a goal back from Cheikhou Kouyate.

This victory brought Arsenal closer to the top. With the acquisition of 33 points from 19 games, the Gunners moved up to fifth with a collection of numbers Southampton in fourth.

Meanwhile, West Ham was ranked sixth with the acquisition of 31 points from 19 matches.

Only three minutes, Arsenal successfully doubled its position 2-0. Crossing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from the right was met with a kick Welbeck who conquered guard Adrian.

After the break, West Ham finally create a goal back. In the 54th minute, James Tomkins crossing from the right side Cheikhou Kouyate executed to reduce the score to 1-2.

West Ham almost equalized when the game runs one hour. Carroll's cross to the far post almost alone shot by Diafra Sakho is set upon Szczesny.

In the 65th minute, Welbeck accelerate on the left side before unleashing a strong horizontal kick to the far post against West Ham. But the ball was off.

Saves from Adrian. In the 74th minute, Alexis Sanchez glancing header from close range but Adrian can dispel with his feet. Arsenal still 2-1 ahead of West Ham.

Sanchez threatened again a minute later. Through the guard of two players behind West Ham, the final kick by Sanchez back muted Adrian. Welbeck obtain a loose ball in the box but the completion of soar.
